Welcome to the RRPictureArchives.NET contributor site of John Fuller.
Photos in this collection reflect my interest in railroad history and operations as well as the usual interesting scenery, unusual trains, and "foreign" power. My home, Alexandria, Virginia, is in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, served by CSX's ex-RF&P Subdivision, its ex-B&O Capital and Metropolitan Subdivisions, ex-B&O Alexandria Extension, and the ex-CR (ex-PC/ex-PRR) Landover and Pope's Creek Lines. It's also the northern terminus of Norfolk Southern's (ex-SOU) Washington Branch. Most of my pictures are from this area.
Beginning fall 2005, however, I've been spending some time in the Morgantown, WV area since my wife began teaching at WVU and we acquired a second home there. Accordingly, some of my pictures will depict the mostly-coal traffic on NS's ex-Monongahela Railway in SW Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia.
